Everywhere you go you see stone, wood : natural materials, all lovingly chosen and restored to the highest possible standards; it is this that makes us at once so singular, and yet so typical of local traditions and style.

This beloved property nestles between woods and meadows, and is a true haven of tranquillity, trapped within the scent of sweetest flowers. Enjoy the perfumes of the lavender as you bask by the sunlit pool; listen to the birdsong as you relax and read on the comfortable chairs; invigorate your meals as you discover the herbs and aromatics of our garden.

In structure La Ferme d'Araucanie might well be a venerable farmhouse, but comes nevertheless with every modern comfort. There is air-conditioning for a start (on the top floor only – no need dowstairs as there are large walls), as well as wi-fi, television, a DVD player, together with top-of-the-range electrical appliances, all selected to reflect the charm of such an authentic restoration. The house consists of a large living room with kitchen, a dining room and sitting room, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Located just a few minutes from the charming village of Tourtoirac, La Ferme d'Araucanie opens its doors to you and offers the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely region. And it is quiet! A small private road takes you to the central courtyard, which in turn leads off to the house, the barn, the pool and gardens. We’re about a hundred metres from our closest neighbours, who in truth are few.
